Soccer Announces 2014 Spring Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The University of Southern Mississippi soccer program announced its spring schedule. The Golden Eagles play Jackson State, William Carey, Springhill, ULM and Pearl River Community College before concluding the spring season with the annual Alumni Game.
The spring season begins with a pair of games on Saturday, March 1. Southern Miss and Jackson State open the day with a 60-minute game at 12:00 p.m. Jackson State and William Carey follow immediately afterwards at 1:00 p.m. with the Golden Eagles and the Crusaders finishing the day at 2:00 p.m.
The Golden Eagles return to the field on Saturday, March 29. Three 60-minute games are scheduled to be played by Southern Miss, Springhill and William Carey. Southern Miss and Springhill start the day with a game at 5:00 p.m., followed by Springhill and William Carey. The Golden Eagles and Crusaders concluded the day with a game at 7:00 p.m. The games with be played at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium.
On Saturday, April 5, the Black and Gold return to the pitch for a game against ULM. The Golden Eagles and Warhawks square off at the Bell Track & Field / Soccer Complex at 1:00 p.m.
Southern Miss concludes competition against other schools on Wednesday, April 16 as the Golden Eagles travel to Pearl River CC for a game at 5:00 p.m.
USM wraps up the spring schedule with the annual Alumni Game on Sunday, April 27. The current Golden Eagles will take on former Black and Gold players at 1:00 p.m. on the soccer pitch.
