Seven different Southern Miss players are currently on rosters in the National Football League. Here is a quick recap on how they did this past weekend:
Chris Clark, Denver - was not active in a 39-36 Denver home victory over Miami. This is the first game Clark has not played in all season. (This week - at Kansas City, 7:30 pm/NBC)
Jamie Collins, New England - collected four tackles (two solos) and a quarterback hurry in a 34-9 victory at home over Detroit. The win improved the Patriots to 9-2 this season. (This week - at Green Bay, 3:25 pm/CBS)
Austin Davis, St. Louis - did not see any action in a 27-24 road loss at San Diego. Davis has not played in the last two games, starting at quarterback eight consecutive games for the Rams. (This week - Oakland, 12 pm/CBS)
Demar Dotson, Tampa Bay - started at right tackle in a 21-13 road loss at Chicago. Dotson has started at right tackle in all 10 games this season for the Buccaneers. (This week - Cincinnati, 12 noon/CBS)
Lamar Holmes, Atlanta - is on the injured reserve list and will miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury.
Tom Johnson, Minnesota - registered two assisted tackles in a 24-21 home loss to Green Bay. Johnson has compiled 5.5 sacks this season. (This week - Carolina, 12 noon/FOX)
Khyri Thornton, Green Bay - is on the injured reserve list and will miss the remainder of the season.
