Getting to Know Eddie Davis

Freshman Eddie Davis sat down with Southern Miss Media Relations to answer a few questions:
What made you choose Southern Miss?
Just the opportunity to play at Southern Miss and in Conference USA. It's a tough battle every night.
How has the transition from high school to college been so far?
The biggest thing is that the speed of the game changed a lot.
What are your personal and team goals for the season?
My personal goal is just to be the best that I can be and to get better. As a team, I just want to win and go as far as we can.
If there is one player that you try to model your game after, who would it be and why?
Jeremiah Eason. He's always shows leadership in my position. I hope to learn as much as I can from him.
Has there been a returning player that has taken you under their wing?
Jeremiah has helped me the most.
What are you listening to when getting ready for a game?
I listen to all types of music before the game.
What's the best advice you're ever received?
Go as hard as you can at all times.
