Women's Basketball to Make Two Appearances on National Television

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's basketball team will be part of a 22 game regular-season package selected for television broadcast this season announced by the Conference USA office.

Southern Miss will make a pair of appearances on national television that include a game on American Sports Network (ASN) and one on Fox Sports Network (FSN) during the 2014-15 season.

The Mississippi State game has been slated to be televised on ASN on Dec. 14 in a 12 p.m. tipoff. The Lady Eagles will also have an appearance on Fox Sports Network against UTEP on Mar. 1 in a 3 p.m. tip-off.

Southern Miss tips off the season with an exhibition game on Nov. 8 against West Florida at 12 p.m. The regular-season opener is Nov. 14 against cross town foe William Carey at 11 a.m., designed as Education Day for local elementary schools.
