Golden Eagle Soccer Announces Seven Spring Signings

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss head soccer coach Mohammed El-Zare announced today the signing of his inaugural signing class, adding prep stars Somer Jones (Mandeville, La.), Jessica Hagarty (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.), Devin McGee (Pass Christian, Miss.), Breann Hedin (Long Beach, Miss.), Tatum Richey (Duluth, Ga.), and Brittany Taylor (Calgary, Alberta) and junior college transfer Temple Hughs (Hattiesburg, Miss.) to National Letters-of-Intent as part of the 2013 signing class.
"We expect this class to be full of outstanding contributors for years to come at Southern Miss," said El-Zare. "My staff and I are excited to begin working with them for the 2013 season, both as athletes and as representatives of our great university."
The six newcomers will join El-Zare's squad of 22 returners when they take the field in the fall of 2013.

Earned state titles in 2008, 2009 and 2011 ... Also participated in the Disney Tournament in 2011 and 2012 ... The Storm are the top ranked Florida select team and No. 12 nationally ...
