Men's Tennis Team Gets Addition

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss men's tennis coach Ki Kroll announced the addition of Vasco Valerde of Lisbon, Portugal for the 2012-13 season.
Valverdo played for Carlos Cordovil at Escola Secundaria de Miraflores High School. He helped his team win a regional and national championship. He won the Lisbon regional championship under 18 singles and doubles as well as 12 and 14 singles and doubles. Valverde played No. 1 in Portugal in 16s and 18s.
