Sunday's Softball Game at East Carolina Rained Out

Greenville, N.C. - Sunday's Conference USA softball game between Southern Miss and East Carolina has been called due to extended rainy conditions in the Greenville area.
Rain rolled into Greenville early Sunday morning and is expected to persist throughout the day.
The teams were able to complete two games of the three-game series, enough for it to be considered complete, and the third game is not expected to be made up. It is the third cancellation due to rain in the previous week for Southern Miss.
Southern Miss will return to action on Tuesday, April 24 when they travel to Alcorn State before coming home for a re-scheduled game with in-state foe Mississippi State at 6 p.m. at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.
