Southern Miss Football to Host Spring Coaching Clinic

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Newly named Southern Miss head football coach Ellis Johnson will host a spring coaching clinic, in conjunction with the Golden Eagles' spring practices, to be held March 29-31, the Southern Miss football office announced today.
Johnson and his staff will work together to host high school coaches from the state of Mississippi and surrounding areas for the three day event.
Participants will have the opportunity to watch the Golden Eagles go through one spring practice and one scrimmage while also learning from coaching legend and national championship winner Danny Ford.
Daily sessions with the Southern Miss position coaches and strength staff make up the majority of the clinic while a pair of nightly socials cap off the day.

Cost to attend is $35 prior to the clinic and $40 the day off. If the coach would like to receive a continuing education unit, there is an additional $20 fee.
