Faulkner Earns Conference USA Player of the Week Honors

IRVING, Texas - Sophomore point guard Jamierra Faulkner was named Conference USA Player of the Week following her performance at SMU on Sunday.

Faulkner scored a career-high 28 points as she shot an incredible 83.3 percent (10-of-12) from the field, including 2-of-3 from behind the arc. The nation's second-best distributor of the ball also dished out six assists and came up with six steals in the Lady Eagles' 74-67 road win. She also connected on 6-of-8 from the free throw line. This is her first Player of the Week honor this season.
