Southern Miss to Host 'An Evening With Ellis'

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics will play host to "An Evening with Ellis," Friday, Feb., 3, from 6-8 p.m., at the campus' Thad Cochran Center Ballroom for a night of football, fun and fellowship.This will be Golden Eagle fans' first chance to meet Southern Miss football coach Ellis Johnson as well as his staff. The night will also give the Black and Gold faithful a look at the 2012 signing class to go along with live and silent auction items that will be up for bid. The Athletic Department will also make a special announcement regarding the 2012-13 academic year during the event.
Others expected to attend the event include the Southern Miss cheerleaders and Seymour, the Pride of Mississippi pep band, the 2012 football senior class along with select Legends Club members and former coaches.
The cost is $15 per person which includes food and non-alcoholic drinks. Each ticket purchased to this event will receive a free ticket to the Black and Gold Game this spring. Tickets are available by going online to SouthernMiss.com, by calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-844-TICK (8425) or by stopping by the Pat Ferlise Athletic Center on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m., until 5 p.m.
