True Freshman tight end Collin Jarbo had his first career catch and touchdown with a 17-yard reception in the fourth quarter.

Defensive Notes

Redshirt Senior Korey Williams returned a 60-yard interception for his first career TD.
Junior Jamie Collins recorded four sacks in the game.
Senior defensive tackle Terrance Pope recorded his first career sack in the second quarter.
Redshirt sophomore Octavius Thomas returned his first career interception for a touchdown.
Redshirt sophomore Alex Smith had his first career interception.
The three interceptions were the most for the Golden Eagles since they snagged four against UAB in 2008.

Special Teams Notes

Senior placekicker Danny Hrappman connected on a 49-yard field goal in the third quarter.
