John Henderson Signs with St. Louis Rams

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The St. Louis Rams announced Friday morning the signing of former Southern Miss defensive lineman John Henderson as a rookie undrafted free agent.

Henderson, from Oakland City, Calif., lettered the last two seasons for the Golden Eagles after transferring from the College of the Sequoias.

In two seasons with the Golden Eagles, Henderson tallied 48 career tackles, which includes 5.5 tackles for loss and a sack. He also added two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in helping Southern Miss to a pair of bowl games during his time with the program.

Henderson was one of 24 undrafted free agents signed Friday morning and joins former Golden Eagle offensive lineman Ryan McKee to the roster. Training camp for the Rams begins Saturday, July 30.
