Southern Miss Announces Final Conference USA Game Times

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Game times for three 2011 Southern Miss Conference USA games, Marshall, Rice and Memphis, have been announced by the league office Thursday.
The lone road game at Marshall, Sat., Sept. 10, has been set for a 2:30 p.m. (CT) kickoff in Huntington, W. Va. The contest will be aired on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS).
The Golden Eagles' home contest against Rice set for Sat., Oct. 1, will take place at 6:30 p.m. (CT), while the regular-season finale with Memphis is slated for 3 p.m. (CT) at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at Roberts Stadium. Both of those contests will be broadcast on CSS.
With the announcement of the kickoff times for the Rice and Memphis contests, all six home games of the 2011 season now have an announced start time.
Southern Miss opens the 2011 season at home, Sept. 3, against Louisiana Tech with a kickoff time slated for 9 p.m. (CT). The game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Network.
The Golden Eagles will also host Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 17 with a 6 p.m. (CT) kickoff, SMU on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. (CT) and defending C-USA champion UCF on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. (CT). The SMU and UCF contests will be broadcast on the CBS Sports Network (CBSSN), formerly called CBS College Sports.
