Ramos then got McClain looking and got Lane to ground out to first to end the inning.
The Golden Eagles threatened in the top of the fifth as Lilly drew a one-out walk and got third on an illegal pitch and wild pitch, but UCF's starter Diana Rojas got Leslie LeJune on a pop out and Taylor Brown grounded out to end the inning.
UCF added two more runs on the bottom half of the inning when McClain and Lane drew back-to-back walks. Both runners moved up a base on a deep fly to right and eventually scored on a Swan's two RBI single.
Brown, Takeda, Hurley and Lilly accounted for the hits for the Golden Eagles while Swan led UCF with two hits.
