Soccer Announces 2011 Recruiting Class

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss soccer coach Scott Ebke announced Thursday the addition of six players who have signed their national letters of intent/grant in aid to join the Golden Eagle soccer program in 2011.
Among the signees included in Coach Ebke's third recruiting class at the helm of the Golden Eagles are two local players from Mississippi staying in-state, Harley Oliver (Petal, Miss.) and Macie Wallace (Lauren, Miss.).
Ebke will also bring in four players from out of state that include two from Alabama, Connie McKie (Hoover, Ala.) and Mary Margaret Underwood (Homewood, Ala.), one from Georgia, Brooke Hendrix (Sharpsburg, Ga.), and one from Louisiana, Casey Adkins (Mandeville, La.).
Head Coach Scott Ebke on the 2011 Recruiting Class: "I am very excited about our 2011 soccer signing class. All of these future Golden Eagles bring a wealth of soccer playing abilities to our team and will add to our overall building process. They are all gifted in the classroom and talented on the soccer field. This is a very versatile class and all the players can play multiple positions, which will add depth to many of our positions. I will be looking for players in this group to make immediate impacts on our team's success in 2011 and beyond."
