Softball to Host Homerun Derby Competition on Saturday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss Softball will host their inaugural "Home Run Derby" competition on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.

The competition is open to the public and will begin at 10 a.m., with beverages and food provided with the cost of registration.

NCAA regulations, however, prohibit girls ages 14 through 19 from participating in the event.

Cost of registration is $25 and can be done online or at the gate. Each participant will also receive a t-shirt to commemorate the event.
