Volleyball's Seymour Named Setter of the Week

IRVING, Texas - Tulsa takes two of the three C-USA Volleyball Players of the Week awards while Southern Miss claims Setter of the Week honor for the second consecutive week.
After averaging a C-USA weekly-best 12.56 assists per set, USM senior Kelsea Seymour picks up back-to-back Setter of the Week honors.
Seymour, a 5-9, Sr., from Long Beach, Calif., averaged a C-USA weekly-best 12.56 assists per set and 4.11 digs per set in helping Southern Miss go 1-1 against Rice and Houston. She recorded her second career triple-double with 55 assists, 23 digs and 11 kills against the Owls and finished with a .688 hitting clip (11K-0E-16TA). Against Houston, Seymour dished out 58 assists, had 14 digs and two kills in posting a double-double. She hit .571 in both matches. This is her second straight Setter of the Week honor and 10th for her career.
