Soccer Team to Host Second Annual Crawfish Boil Friday Night

Join members of the Southern Miss soccer team and the staff of Auto Glass City Glass (692 Weathersby Rd/2 blocks behind Lowe's on Hwy 98) this Fri., May 7, for their 2nd Annual Crawfish Boil.
The boil, catered by La Seafood, starts at 5:30 p.m., and music will be provided by The Bad Eye Mike Band, who will play until around 9 p.m. All donations and proceeds will go to sponsor a scholarship for a Student Athlete attending Southern Miss and playing Women's Soccer in the honor of Abigail Lear.
Deuce McAllister, former running back for the New Orleans Saints is also scheduled to be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures.
The event will also serve as a celebration of the 2009-10 academic year in which the soccer team had a cumulative GPA of 3.46 and great way to get involved with the Golden Goal Booster Club.
