Soccer Team Announces its 2010 Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss head soccer coach Scott Ebke announced today the women's soccer schedule for the 2010 season.
"We are excited about this schedule and the opportunities it presents to us for our upcoming season," Ebke said "Our non-conference schedule provides us the opportunity to compete against quality teams, which should better prepare us for our tough Conference USA schedule."
The Golden Eagles will welcome to the Southern Miss Soccer Complex instate foes Mississippi Valley State (8/27) and Jackson State (9/12) along with Northwestern State in non-conference action.
They will host Marshall (9/24), East Carolina (9/26), Rice (10/8), Houston (10/10), SMU (10/22) and Tulsa (10/24) in C-USA matches.
In non conference games the Golden Eagles will travel to Nicholls State (8/15) for a preseason exhibition, 2009 NCAA tournament participant SE Louisiana (8/22), Mississippi State (8/29), Samford (9/3), Vanderbilt (9/5) and Ole Miss (9/17).
C-USA road games include UAB (10/1), Memphis (10/3), UTEP (10/15), Colorado College (10/17) and UCF (10/29).
