Baseball Team to Hold Military Appreciation Night on Wednesday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The University of Southern Mississippi Department of Athletics and the Golden Eagle Baseball team in conjunction with the Mississippi Army Nation Guard will honor the military Wednesday night vs. South Alabama.
All members of the military will receive a $2 ticket for the game with a valid ID.
Several special events are being held in conjunction with the game including an oversized flag in the outfield for the national anthem that will be held by Southern Miss student athletes and members of the Army National Guard.
The Mississippi Army National Guard will also bring out their Mobile event trailer which features interactive games such as Rock Band and Call of Duty as well as a PT competition.
Members of Camp Shelby and the VWF are also expected to be in attendance.
First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park.
