Southern Miss Set to Host Bowl Parties at Three Locales

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics will hold bowl parties in Hattiesburg, Ridgeland and on the Gulf Coast next week in anticipation of the school's eighth straight bowl appearance later this month in either New Orleans or Fort Worth.
The schedule will start Monday, Dec. 7, when Golden Eagle football coach Larry Fedora and selected players will appear at the Thad Cochran Center from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., at a bowl luncheon. There will be free parking available on the Golden Eagle campus. Cost of the luncheon is $10.
Later that evening, Fedora and players will appear at the Beau Rivage beginning at 5:45 p.m. in Biloxi, as light Hour d' Oeuvres will be available as well as a cash bar.
The bowl tour finishes, Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 5:45 p.m., at Buffalo Wild Wings in Ridgeland (808 Lake Harbour Dr.).
The Golden Eagles recently finished the regular season with its 16th-straight winning season and will be appearing in their 12th bowl game in the last 13 years.
