We had good practices this week, learning a lot of different offenses and defenses and putting everything together. Looking forward to playing West Alabama next weekend and showing everyone how hard we work! Thursday Lauren Pittman, Whitney McNelis and I enjoyed the Temple Joy Club Picnic. It was so amazing to see a lot of older people getting together and having fun and enjoying life. Following the Joy Club Picnic we had our mentor party at the house. We socialized, ate and talked about all of the exciting upcoming events for this season. Last night at Coach McNelis' house we had our annual alumni party. We all enjoyed meeting the former Lady Eagles and sharing stories about the past and present! I'm looking forward to this upcoming week and preparing for our scrimmage!
