Cherry and Petrinec Earn All-Tournament Honors

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss placed two players on the McNeese State Invitational all-tournament team over the weekend.

Cherry finished the weekend with 24 kills, two aces and 13 digs with an attack percentage of .300. She recorded 11 kills in the win against Mississippi State.

Petrinec tallied 21 kills, three aces, 20 digs and four total blocks. She had an attack percentage of .250. Petrinec recorded a season-high 13 kills against Mississippi State.

Southern Miss plays its first home match Tuesday against Southeastern Louisiana at 7 p.m. The match was re-scheduled
