This week's Golden Eagle Player of the Week is Golden Eagle Women's Soccer player Samantha Polley.
Polley, the sophomore defender and midfielder from Louisville, Kent., scored the winning goal in overtime in a 1-0 victory over UAB Sunday afternoon in Birmingham, Ala.
The goal was also Polley's first for the year. She also has one assist.
Polley has played and started in all 10 games this season and has tallied a total of 663 min. of play time.
She also has 4 shots this season (2 on goal).
Polley and the Golden Eagles' Women's Soccer team return to action at home Friday, Oct. 3rd against East Carolina.
