Southern Miss Completes Fourth Practice Monday Afternoon

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss completed its fourth practice of the 2008 fall camp Monday afternoon at the Joe P. Park Practice facility.
The Golden Eagles worked out for over two hours in shorts and shoulder pads for the second consecutive day. Southern Miss will return to the practice field tomorrow afternoon in full pads for the first time this season.
Head Coach Larry Fedora was off campus this morning and the early part of practice this afternoon to attend the funeral of his grandmother who passed away at the age of 93.
"From what I saw at practice today it looked good," Fedora said. "We are only in our fourth day so it is still early, but the guys are running around well and have had great enthusiasm. We will see what everybody has when we put full pads on tomorrow."
