Golden Eagles Complete First Day in Shoulder Pads

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss completed its third practice of the season under head coach Larry Fedora Sunday afternoon.

The Golden Eagles worked out for about two and a half hours in shorts and shoulder pads for the first time this season in temperatures around the upper 80's.

"I thought we had a much better practice today than Saturday," Fedora said. "We just have to keep moving forward and getting better each day."

Today was the third practice of fall camp held at the Joe P. Park practice facilities. The Golden Eagles will return to the practice field tomorrow with another workout in shorts and shoulder pads before their first day in full pads on Tuesday.
