Southern Miss Goes Through First Full Pad Workout

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss continued its spring football preparations here Friday at the Joe P. Park Practice Facility with a 2 ½ hour workout in full pads.
It was the first time the Golden Eagles donned full pads this spring.
"I thought for the first day in pads the guys really moved around well," said first-year coach Larry Fedora. "We hit a little lull in the middle of practice, but turned it around and really got after it at the end."
The practice marked the third of 15 workouts this spring, which includes the annual Spring Game, April 12, at 6 p.m. Tickets for that game are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
