Softball Team To Offer Winter Camps

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss women's softball program is offering three winter camps, Jan. 17, Jan. 18, and Jan. 19, at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.
Camp 1 (Jan. 17) is available to campers ages 8-12 and will touch on pitching and hitting, while Camp 2 (Jan. 18) and Camp 3 (Jan. 19) are available to campers ages 13-18, and will place an emphasis on pitching, catching and hitting. All these camps will be conducted by the Golden Eagle coaching staff and softball players.
The cost of the camp is $60 per camp (hitting or pitching or catching) or $105 for two camps. However, pitchers must bring their own catchers. Lunch will not be provided. Pitching camp is schedule for 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., on Jan. 17 and Jan. 18, with the hitting camps to follow from 1:30-4:30 p.m., each day. The catching camp is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Jan. 19, followed by the hitting camp.
