HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Sophomore Ashlyn Harmon singled to left field to score Jennifer Fox and give Southern Miss the 4-3 extra-inning win in game one, while UTEP recorded a four-run third inning to win game two, 6-2, and split the C-USA series, today, at the Southern Miss Softball Complex.

The Miners added another run in the fourth to extend the lead to 6-2.
Hill recorded a double down the left field line to score Logan James for Southern Miss' first run of the game, and Fox walked in the third inning to score Brandi Alonzo for the final run.
