Lady Eagles Begin 2007 Season in Getterman Classic

WACO, Texas - The Southern Miss softball team will begin the 2007 season at the Getterman Classic, hosted by Baylor, beginning Friday, Feb. 9.
The Lady Eagles open the tournament on Friday at 9:30 a.m., as they take on the Ladyjacks of Stephen F. Austin.
Southern Miss continues tournament play against Baylor, who was recently ranked No. 18 in the nation in preseason polls, on Friday at 4:15 p.m.
Probable starters for the Lady Eagles include Kristin Pilgrim (So.) at catcher, Logan James (Fr.) at first base, Karissa Jones (Fr.) at second base, Brittany Wright (Fr.) at shortstop, Jennifer Fox (Jr.) at third base, Brandi Alonzo (Fr.) at left field, Allison Bullard (Jr.) at center field, Melissa Prouty (Sr.) at right field, Megan Hill (Fr.) at designated player and either Samantha Davis (So.) or Shea Naramore (Jr.) at pitcher.
Southern Miss fans will be able to view live stats of all games, including free audio during the 4:15 p.m. competition against Baylor.
