Men's Tennis Continues Play in Rice Invitational

HOUSTON, Texas - The Southern Miss men's tennis team continued play in the 10th Annual Rice University/Downtown Club at the Met Collegiate Indoor Invitational on Saturday.

In singles action, Domagoj Anic was the only Golden Eagle left, being defeated by Brett Joelson of Texas A&M, 6-3, 6-1.

In doubles play, Oskar Machuca and Diego Machuca lost to Rice's Dennis Polyakov and Filip Zivojinovoic, 8-3. Anic and Strate Krestski defeated Kriegler Brink and Mike Donovan of TCU, 9-7, while losing to Denver's Ben Althaus and Nejc Smole, 8-1.
