On player relationships within Golden Eagle Football:
Our relationships are really good. We're a team. In every team you're going to have certain people hang out with certain people. When we all come together, we come together as one team. There is never any "I don't like him and I don't like him." If you have that kind of attitude on your team then you don't have a team. That is when you just have individuals and you don't want that. You don't have to be around somebody all day to be cool with them. I think that our player relationships are really good and that is what helps make a team successful in the end.
On passing the time:
There really isn't too much you can do around little Hattiesburg. We just chill and rest. When we aren't in football season, we work out all the time. Football is a year-round thing and it requires a year-round effort. Whenever we get a chance we might go to the mall or something like that but our options are definitely limited around here.
On living in the dorm:
There are good points and bad points to all of us living in the dorm together. Everyone knows how it is to be around somebody every day for 24 hours a day. It can get a little tiring. At the same time, it builds chemistry and builds character among each of us as individuals. It makes your reactions better out on the field if your roommate is playing right along beside you. It's a trust thing. That is definitely a plus to all of us being in the dorm together.
On player relationships within the Golden Eagle family:
I know most of the old basketball players real well but I don't know too many of the new ones. I always like everybody. I get along well with the baseball players, the soccer players, the tennis players and even the volleyball players. It doesn't matter what sport they play because I'm a people person. We like to attend other athletic events to show our support for them. I like to attend basketball games and baseball games every now and then. I'm not going to lie to you though. I'm not a big baseball fan but I go out there to support some of the guys that I came in here with. I meet someone and I just learn to love them.
