Senior third baseman Marc Maddox hit .538 (7/13) in three games against the Green Wave last week, with seven hits, one double, one stolen base, three home runs and four RBIs. He also collected 17 total bases, slugged 1.308 and had a .500 on-base percentage. He hit a home run in every game of the series to notch career home runs No. 49-51, including No. 51 on Sunday, to surpass Jeff Cook (50, 2000-03) as the new career home run leader in Southern Miss baseball history (51).
