Tom Johnson Signs Free Agent Contract With Indianapolis Colts

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Defensive tackle Tom Johnson signed with the Indianapolis Colts as a rookie free agent on Monday, marking the first Golden Eagle to be signed by an NFL team this season.
Johnson played two seasons at Southern Miss after transferring from Gulf Coast CC. Last season, Johnson posted 54 tackles (26 solo; 28 assists), nine tackles for loss for 38 yards, 3.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery while playing in all 12 games and starting 11.
