Send Off For Football Cancelled Due to Inclement Weather

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Department of Athletics announces that the 2:45 p.m. send off for the football team, originally scheduled to take place in front of the Athletic Center, has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
Awaiting departure for Houston, where they will be battling for their fifth Conference USA title, the Golden Eagles' flight out of Pine Belt Airport has been delayed until further notice.
Southern Miss faces the University of Houston Friday at 7 p.m., in a game that will be televised live on ESPN 2.
