Southern Miss Volleyball player Angela Hlavaty has been selected as the Southern Miss Student Athlete of the Week for her performances against Rice and Houston this weekend.
The 6-4 freshman middle hitter tallied 31 kills, 15 digs and 10 total blocks over the weekend. She averaged 3.10 kills, 1.50 digs and 1.0 blocks per game. Hlavaty also recorded six assists and posted her second double-double of the season with 19 kills and 13 digs in the win against Houston. She committed only two attach errors in the win against Rice.
Hlavaty tallied a total of 36.5 points over the weekend.
