Golden Eagles Practice on Wednesday In Preparation For Alabama
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Southern Miss football team underwent a two-hour practice today, at the Billy J. Murphy Football Facility. The Golden Eagles will work out on Thursday before traveling to
Head Coach Jeff Bower assessed the practice and said he was disappointed with the team?s concentration level.
?I was disappointed today, because we didn?t concentrate like we should have,? Bower said. ?We dropped too many passes, had too many motion penalties and we were not sharp in our execution.
?We were supposed to sharpen our mental game today and tomorrow, and we didn?t do a good job of it. Tomorrow?s going to be extremely important that we come out and get some things corrected and concentrate and be better at execution.?
?The three injured guys, Mitch Craft, Caleb Hendrix and Gerald McRath are day-to-day and will be assessed each day.?
