?I?m very proud of our guys. I think we played hard in the game. We got off to a fast start, with the two quick turnovers that we turned into points. But then we had two turnovers of our own, and that hurt us. Defensively, we played okay. We played better defensively. They had that one long drive with the long pass. That was Cornelius McGee?s first college play, and he will get better. We played well. We didn?t give up but 256 yards, and we gained 456. We stayed on the field and had a chance to play a lot of players in the game. We had a chance to mix it up pretty well from a play-calling standpoint. We still have to work to get better in the kicking game. I don?t think we covered very well on kickoffs, and with the exception of the one long return, we have a lot of work to do with our kickoff return unit. We didn?t have but one punt all night. It was a good win for us. The thing I really like is the way we came out in the second half. We jumped on them and made some things happen.?
On the rushing performance tonight:
?We wanted to be more balanced. That was the bottom line and we had some good things going running the ball.?

?We talked at halftime about going out and getting some emotion back along with our intensity. The opening kickoff return got us going there.?
