Softball Falls To Louisville, 8-0
With the loss, Southern Miss falls to 19-19 overall, 5-5 in Conference
The Lady Cardinals put the game out of reach in the bottom of the fifth. Southern Miss got two quick outs, before Vasquez tripled to right field. Totten followed with an RBI single, scoring Vasquez. Sara Bausher singled to center, advancing Totten to second. After a pitching change to Krystal Crooks, Leslie Garland walked, which loaded the bases. Audrey Rendon followed with a two-RBI single.
Danielle Wymer (8-11) took the loss for Southern Miss, allowing four runs on four hits, walking one and striking out two in one inning of work. Shae Naramore had the longest outing of her career today, pitching 3.2 innings, allowing six hits, three runs and walking two.
