Football To Hold Signing Day Socials

Hattiesburg, Miss.? The Southern Miss Athletics Department will be hosting socials in Hattiesburg, Jackson, Gulfport and Meridian to announce its 2005 football signing class on Wednesday, Feb. 2.

Head Coach Jeff Bower and members of his staff will be on hand to discuss the signing class in Hattiesburg at Buffalo Wild Wings from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

New defensive coordinator Jay Hopson will be at the River Hills Tennis Club in Jackson from 11:45 a.m. until completion.

Assistant Head Coach Randy Butler will speak to fans at the Crescent City restaurant in Meridian from 12 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.

On the Gulf Coast, Bower, and Director of Football Operations John Miller, will be joined by Rod Davis of the Minnesota Vikings, and Bonita Favre, who will be doing a book signing of her latest book release, ?Favre? for an evening social from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the Beach View Room of the Grand Casino, Gulfport.  Film of all the new signees will be available.
