Golden Eagle Players Capture Finals of UTC Baras Fall Classic

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ? Southern Miss Golden Eagle tennis players concluded the final day of competition, winning the championship titles in the Flight B and Flight C singles and consolation championship in Flight B singles at the UTC Baras Fall Tennis Classic.

Juan Garzon dropped his first set, but bounced back to take the Flight B singles title, defeating Javier Rodriguez of Belmont, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.

Marc Lux also ran the tables completing his play in the Flight C singles, defeating Daniel Bustamante pf UNC Greensboro in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2.

Dylan Mezey posted two wins in the consolation bracket of the Flight B singles, defeating Emmanuel Vienaud of Shorter, 6-3, 6-0, and Ignacio Gesto of Belmont, 6-2, 6-3.
