Fan Caravan Travels To Neshoba County Fair
HATTIESBURG, Miss. ? The Southern Miss Fan Caravan will make its second stop at the Neshoba County Fair for "Hattiesburg Day" on Thursday, July 29 from 11 a.m. ? 2 p.m. Fans can visit with Seymour and the cheerleaders. Athletic department staff will be on hand to distribute information and take orders for football season tickets.
The next stop for the Southern Miss Fan Caravan will be on Saturday, July 31 from 11 a.m. ? 2 p.m. at the Edgewater Mall in Gulfport, Miss. Members of the 2004 team including: quarterback Dustin Almond, linebacker Dillon Cleckler and offensive lineman Bradley Worthington will also be on hand in Gulfport.
The 2004 Southern Miss football schedule will be exciting and competitive as the Golden Eagles begin defense of their 2003 C-USA Championship. Home games include California on Thurs., Sept. 16; Houston, Thurs., Oct. 7; East Carolina (Homecoming), October 23; Cincinnati, November 6; and UAB, November 27.
