Football Begins Preparations For Wyndham New Orleans Bowl

The Golden Eagles did some light conditioning on Monday, as the coaching staff was able to catch up on recruiting that they were unable to do, due to the late game in the season.
Since the Wyndham New Orleans Bowl, set for Dec. 14, is the first bowl of the season, the team does not have much time off to begin to rest or heal injuries.
?This week is like an extra game in the regular season for us,? Head Football Coach Jeff Bower said. ?We don?t get much extra practice in preparation for the bowl game.?
Bower said the team is excited to be going to a bowl for the third straight season, and seventh time in the last eight seasons.
