Southern Miss? Amy Truong recorded her second straight triple-double, tallying 12 kills, 25 assists and 13 digs, while Jazzmien Stephens and Cassie Conley each added 13 kills. Amanda Blunck had 13 digs. Conley also had a match-high nine total blocks.
The Lady Eagles rallied from a five-point deficit in game one to tie the game at 16-16. From then on, both team traded points. SLU had game point, but the Truong and Conley put up a big block to tie the game again at 29-29. Antanaviciute put down a kill, but Truong responded with a kill, knotting the game at 30-30. The Lady Eagles got the win when Antanaviciute had back-to-back attack errors.
The Billikens? Lasater served eight consecutive points for a 9-2 lead. Southern Miss could not get its offense on track with SLU out hitting Southern Miss .343 to .132 in the game. SLU won game three, 30-21.
