CHARLOTTE, N.C. ? The Southern Miss volleyball team could not over come Charlotte?s offensive attack, losing 3-0, in Conference USA action Friday night. The loss dropped Southern Miss to 5-14 and 0-6 in the league. The
Southern Miss? Cassie Conley was the only Lady Eagle to notch double-digit kills with 14. Amanda Blunck recorded 11 digs.
The 49ers had two players with double-digit kills, Jessica Oldenburg and Lisa Newell recorded 16 kills a piece. Abby Szlanfucht posted 22 digs.
