HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Lady Eagle volleyball team competes in the first tournament of the season, Friday and Saturday, at the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islander Invitational Tournament.
The Lady Eagles, which finished the 2002 campaign with a 16-15 overall record and an eighth-place finish in Conference USA, will play four matches in the event.
Southern Miss opens the tournament against North Carolina A&T (0-0), Friday at 9 a.m. The Lady Eagles then face Texas Tech (0-0) later that afternoon, with a 4:30 p.m., match.
