Conference USA Supports BCS Discussion
CHICAGO, Ill. - Conference USA Commissioner Britton Banowsky has issued the following statements pertaining to the recent activities surrounding the Bowl Championship Series (BCS):
"Conference USA is pleased that the Presidents and Chancellors representing all of Division I-A athletics have agreed to participate in a dialogue concerning the future of postseason football. We are also encouraged that Dr. Myles Brand, President of the NCAA, will be a participant."
"It is our hope that all participants will approach the discussions in a cooperative way and that meaningful outcomes can be achieved."
