Scherer To Appear On Golden Eagle Hotline
Hattiesburg, Miss. - Southern Miss offensive coordinator Rip Scherer will appear Thursday night on the Golden Eagle Hotline radio call-in show on the Southern Miss ISP Sports Network. Scherer will talk about the upcoming Golden Eagle football season and spring football practice which opens on Wed., Mar. 19.
The weekly call-in show takes place at Garfield's Restaurant and Pub, located in Turtle Creek Mall in Hattiesburg, and is hosted by the "voice of the Golden Eagles" John Cox. The show airs from 7-8 p.m., and listeners can talk to Scherer by calling 1-888-477-7234 (1-888-ISP-Radio) or Cingular Wireless customers in Mississippi or Louisiana can call by dialing #477. Golden Eagle fans are also invited to attend the broadcast and participate by asking questions.
