Davis Named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week
Hattiesburg, Miss. - Southern Miss redshirt senior linebacker Rod Davis was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week for his performance Saturday against Illinois. He finished with 14 tackles, four tackles for loss, two quarterback sacks and two quarterback knockdowns in Saturday's 23-20 victory over Illinois at M. M. Roberts Stadium.
