Seventh Annual Eagle FanFare Set For Saturday
HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The South Central Mississippi/Hattiesburg Metro Alumni Chapter will host the seventh annual Eagle FanFare, sponsored by the Hattiesburg American and the online edition, on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at 6:30 p.m., at Reed Green Coliseum. Tours of the Athletic Center will take place from 5-6:30 p.m.
Southern Miss Director of Athletics Richard Giannini and Head Football Coach Jeff Bower will be the featured speakers. Fans can meet the new football players, coaching staff and athletic department officials as well.
Tickets for the event are $15 for adults and $8 for children, when purchased in advance. If the tickets are purchased at the door, the cost will be $18 for adults and $10 for children. Children under six are free.
Each ticket purchased to Eagle FanFare will be entered into a drawing for a Tailgate Package that will include a portable stainless steel Holland grill, canopy tent, chairs and other tailgating supplies at a retail value of more than $500. The tailgate package is provided by Big Buck Sports and the winner must be present to win.
Tickets can be purchased from the Ferlise Center, 266-5418, the Ogletree Alumni House, 266-5013, or from any Hattiesburg Metro Chapter board member.
